<p>January 27 th, 2011</p>
<p>We are talking about Chocolate milk, or the brown stuff,  sometimes referred to, back in the day. Chocolate milk was my choice for our school lunch. It was the drink to stir up, when you were a kid, and I almost always threw in an extra teaspoon from the Nesquik can. Most of us who lived in that generation, were not calorie counters then, but not to defend our actions, sugar was not a main ingredient in everything we ate or drank. As time past chocolate milk either by mix or by container became very popular during the younger years, of these baby boomers.<img class="alignright" style="border: 0px" src="image/jpeg;base64,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" alt="" align="middle" border="0" /></p>
<h2><span style="color: #800000">Chocolate Milk</span></h2>
<div><strong><span style="color: #993300">Chocolate milk</span></strong> is a sweetened, cold, cocoa flavored milk drink. It can be purchased pre-mixed, or made at home with either cocoa powder and a sweetener (such as sugar or an artificial brand, such as Splenda), melted chocolate, chocolate syrup, or chocolate milk mix. There are other ingredients,  starch, salt, carrageenan, vanilla, or artificial flavorings may be added.  Just like plain milk, Chocolate milk should be refrigerated to maintain from spoiling.</div>
<div>Any of these methods should result in a  blend of the two flavors (milk and chocolate, hence the name of the mixed drink, Chocolate milk.</div>

<h2><span style="color: #800000">You might say&#8230; &#8220;Chocolate milk has had it&#8217;s Glory Years&#8221;</span></h2>
<p> Then  came the age of sugar craze drinks, diet drinks,  sports drinks, leaving Chocolate milk on the shelf as a courtesy to those, who still longed, for chocolate milk.</p>
<div>  <strong>CHOCOLATE MILK had</strong>  became taunted with rumors, that tainted milk had been used, and other such nonsense, that non resable milk was being used. The Food and Drug Administration would love to hear about that one and they did. The FDA set stringent rules to provide the safety of the foods we eat and drink. So if the milk does not meet their criteria, it&#8217;s not sold.</div>
<div> </div>
<h2><span style="color: #800000">Wake up to the New Age Drinks</span></h2>
<div> </div>
<div>Now, we find even water in this category, why not Chocolate Milk. The old story being sold with a new twist. Perhaps, we actually were enjoying this drink, before all the science and marketing got a hold of it. Now we have people stepping up and reporting  about the value of milk in this chocolate drink.</div>
<div> </div>
<p>Now according to Keith Ayoob EdD., registered dietition and Associate of Pediatrics at the Albert Einstien College of Medicine, &#8220;<strong>Milk is a Sports drink, Plus&#8221;.</strong>  He goes on to further say to WebMd. &#8221; <strong>It will supply you with things you need wether or not you&#8217;re working out&#8221;.</strong></p>
<p>Studies have shown, that your intense exercise, reduces the muscle&#8217;s supply of glucose, glycogen, a important source of fuel for any exercise. This needing to be replenished by taking in a serving of carbohydrates approximately 30 minutes after the long workout.<img class="alignright" style="border: 0px" src="image/jpeg;base64,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" alt="" align="middle" border="0" /></p>
<p>The additional benefits, drinking more  chocolate milk,  provides the much needed Calcium, Potassium, and Vitamin D.</p>

<h2><span style="color: #800000">So Now&#8230; Chocolate milk  is being rediscovered as the next Sports Drink!</span></h2>
<p><span style="color: #800000"><span style="color: #000000">NaturalNews reported&#8230; </span></span><span style="color: #000000">After an intense workout, instead of downing a commercial sports drink loaded with artificial colors and sugar, you&#8217;d be better off just having a glass of chocolate milk. That&#8217;s the conclusion of two studies presented at the recent American College of Sports Medicine&#8217;s 57th Annual Meeting held in Baltimore. It turns out that chocolate milk offers a distinct recovery advantage to help repair and rebuild muscles when compared to widely hyped commercial carbohydrate sports drinks.<br />

<p>According to the International Journal of Sport Nutrition and Exercise Metabolism, chocolate milk already contains all the benefits that water and other famous sports drinks like Gatorade have – and so much more. Compared to famous sports products, chocolate milk contains double the carbohydrates and proteins. It’s perfect for replenishing tired muscles after an intense workout. The high water content also replaces the fluids lost in sweat to prevent dehydration. Moreover, chocolate milk contains added nutritional benefits like calcium and just the right amount of sodium and sugar that helps your body retain the water and replenish energy.</p>
<h2><span style="color: #800000">Chocolate Milk and Obesity</span></h2>
<p><span style="color: #000000">Many are at opposite ends regarding this controversial view. With obesity on the rise within our children, chocolate milk having almost the same amount of sugar as a soda, some schools have banned this drink from the school menus. However, those who have abandoned the  Chocoalte milk have replaced the drink with the sodas.  For further reading </span><span style="color: #800000"><a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,1948865,00.html">http://www.time.com/time/nation/article/0,8599,1948865,00.html</a></span></p>
<h2><span style="color: #800000">Todays Health Comments</span></h2>
<p><span style="color: #800000"><strong>Chocolate Milk is not without controversy</strong>. <span style="color: #000000">I find this drink to be enjoyable but its most healthy with your own recipe. Using chocolate melted and mixed with milk, it allows you to choose the fat content of the milk and the light or dark chocolate to be used. There are health benefits of chocolate, and certainly milk is healthy as well. Remember it generally the additives that create the ill health. Obesity is certainly a consideration here, and what studies did not indicate is the amount of exercise our youth is not getting to what they are eating.</span></span></p>

<p><span style="color: #ff9900"><strong><span style="color: #000080"> ORANGE JUICE</span></strong></span></p>
<p>Most people think of  <span style="color: #0000ff"><strong>&#8220;WATER</strong></span>&#8221; as the most needed for a healthy body. Water is crucial for survival &#8212; it&#8217;s the foundation for your body fluids such as your  blood and digestive juices.</p>
<p>Water helps nutrients get absorbed and be transported, and it helps eliminate waste. If you should lose as little as 1 percent to 2 percent of your body weight, it can seriously impact your body&#8217;s ability to function. It&#8217;s commonly said that you should drink eight eight-ounce glasses of water a day to stay healthy. This is just a common rule, as so many factors can affect how much water your body needs.</p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #ff0000">CAUTION:</span></strong> not all water is EQUAL, or even good for you.  Some Tap water can be potentially contaminated with chemicals, pesticides or even pharmaceutical drugs.</p>
<p> And bottled water, which is regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), has weaker regulations than the Environmental Protection Agency requires for tap water.Purifing your water through various processes, sometimes the need to boiling your water, or filtration of water may provide a healthier water.</p>
<p>This comes down to reading the fine print.</p>
<p><span style="color: #0000ff"><strong>Milk </strong></span>curbs food cravings, helps protect against osteoporosis, stabilizes blood sugar,  is the ideal source of calcium,  it contains vitamin D, which is needed for maximum calcium absorption. &#8216;The calcium causes your body&#8217;s cells to burn the fat, allowing  those who are seeking to loose weight, to  choose this drink.   See also our Past article on Chocalate Milk.</p>
<div> <strong><span style="color: #0000ff">Green Tea</span> i</strong>t helps reduce risk of osteoporosis, cancer, heart disease and cavities. Green tea contains a rich concentration of flavonoids and polyphenols, natural antioxidants that mayprotect cells from carcinogens (cancer-causing substances) and inhibit tumor growth by helping to neutralize free radicals in the body.</div>
<p><span style="color: #0000ff"><strong>Mint Tea</strong></span> eases cramps and helps ward off indigestion. &#8220;Mint is an antispasmodic, so it can relax muscles, which combats stiffness and aches.</p>
<p><span style="color: #0000ff"><strong>Soy Milk </strong></span>lowers risk of heart disease, contains soluble fiber and soy protein, which lowers LDL (bad) cholesterol levels and triglycerides, reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease, but Soy contains phytoestrogens, which may be linked to an increased risk of breast cancer. </p>
<p> <span style="color: #0000ff"><strong>Tomato Juice </strong></span>may protect against several cancers. Tomato products are the richest source of the antioxidant lycopene, reducing the risk of lung and stomach cancer, as well as pancreatic, colorectal, esophageal, oral, breast and cervical cancers. Lycopene also appears to protect the lungs and heart against oxidative damage.</p>
<p><span style="color: #0000ff"><strong>Cranberry Juice </strong></span>helps prevent gum disease. Research suggests that the same anti-bacterial properties present in cranberry juice that fight off urinary tract infections may also protect against periodontal disease. Experts theorize that a component of the juice called nondialysable material (NDM) inhibits bacteria from sticking to the gums.</p>
<p><span style="color: #0000ff"><strong>Orange Juice </strong></span>is an excellent source of vitamin C, may also ward off cataracts, cancers and birth defects. It can boost your immunity.  Orange juice is also a potent antioxidant that may protect you against a variety of diseases. Vitamin C  improves immune-cell functioning, enabling your body to fight off infections more efficiently. It&#8217;s a good source of folate, which protects against neural-tube defects in fetuses. </p>
<div><strong><span style="color: #0000ff">High-Antioxidant 100% Fruit Juice</span> </strong></div>
<p>There are many nutritionists who continue to debate whether  fruit juices, because of their sugar content, are really healthy. Most would agree that eating whole fruit is always better for you than drinking their juice. You may want to limit your intake to no more than one glass (six to eight ounces) daily. &#8220;Make sure the label says 100 percent juice, not &#8216;juice drink&#8217; or &#8216;cocktail.&#8221;&#8216;</p>
<p>However drinking fruit juice, certain types of juice do have their benefits.</p>
<p>A Study by the University of California, Los Angeles, ranked 10 beverages according to their levels of disease-fighting antioxidants. The conclusion was that the 10 best antioxidant-rich beverages  were mostly fruit juices.</p>

<h3><span style="color: #993300">Chocolate milk is being rediscovered</span><span style="color: #993300">,</span> after perhaps being sat back on the shelf,  with just fond memories, of that rich, thick chocolate drink, once stirred up from the can sitting up in the cupboard or from the local supermarket.</h3>
<p>It has had its Glory Years, one might say. Then  came the NEW age of sugar craze drinks, diet drinks,  sports drinks, but now we have come full circle again, HEALTHY DRINKS!</p>
<p>Now <span style="color: #993300"><strong>CHOCOLATE MILK</strong>  </span>has been taunted by the rumors, that tainted milk has been used, and other such nonsense, that non resable milk was being used. The Food and Drug administration would love to hear about that one. Since they set stringent rules to provide the safety of the foods we eat and drink. So if the milk does not meet their criteria, it not sold.</p>
<p>Now according to Keith Ayoob EdD.,registered dietition and Associate of Pediatrics at the Albert Einstien College of Medicine, <span style="color: #993300">&#8220;<strong>Milk is a Sports drink,Plus&#8221;.</strong></span>  He goes on to further say to WebMd.
This needing to be replenished by taking in a serving of carbohydrates approximately 30 minutes after the long workout.</p>
<p>SO Now&#8230; <strong><span style="color: #993300">Chocolate milk</span>  </strong>is being rediscovered as the next Sports Drink!</p>
<p>The additional benefits, drinking more  chocolate milk,  provides the much needed Calcium, Potassium, and Vitamin D.</p>
<p><strong><em>This drink should be a no brainer for teenagers and adults who are looking for a healthier choice.</em></strong></p>
