However, due to our era of economic times, many people are juggling their health for a roof over their head, food on the table or trying to catch up on the bills.
There is no way of really knowing how many people there are, nor would they be, the first to admit. It does not take a Rocket scientist to figure this one out, when we have over 9% unemployed, the huge number of homes in foreclosure, and those on disability. So I spent some time doing a little research in my neighborhood and found in my zip code alone there was over 6000 people on some kind of disability, several homes in foreclosure, and 9.4% on the unemployed. WOW!
No longer, is that a new story. We are all making sacrifices, that will perhaps have an impact on our health situation, no matter how large our bank account is. But how about those people I just mentioned, who now have no Health Insurance, Hospitals becoming insolvent and turning people away, Doctors appointments being cancelled for one reason or another, medicines not affordable, or have no access to them, continued scrutiny of our Medicare and Medicaid plans, this NOW, is not just a problem for the low income folks.
No longer do we have the comfort level that was once taken for granite, that if there was a Health problem, it would not be a consideration to go to the doctor, buy the medicine, or not to pay the house payment. Now days, our emphasis, or priorities have changed. This in someways, for the good, eating out less, buying less junk food, spending more time at home with the family, and shopping more carefully. This may actually be better for our waistline and our love ones will see each other more.
This desire to sustain our basic needs, has brought us to shopping on the Internet, for almost every product needed in our lives.
