Today’s article, what people might use to prevent or deturones eating too much or encourage the idea of weight lose. Today especially, with the quick access to media. as soon as some new study or diating  frenzy hits the public ears, this group of people tell the whole world. So anxious to become the person they are not or use to be, settle for the drop of the salt shaker or the diet pill.

The first two, the tastants and the diet pills…

will most likely be around for a long time. For most they represent what we have become and how we got there in the first place. We have put our bodies in second place of all things that come before us.To be straight forward here, our bodies have been placed on “The Back Burner” and left for action later. Then some event or situation falls upon us, after years of complacentcy, recognition of this, becomes immediately apparent. Now we are looking for that quick fix. We can continue to eat every thing that got us that way in the first place, look and feel beautiful about ourselves, by the simple shake of salt or a pill. Thus continuing the same path as before, except now some one is empting your pocket book, and you now must take these for the rest of your life. Did you buy that?

Now common sense tells us, that is, no way, no how, going to happen for a very long time. Thats is why, soon as the new thing on the block hits the media… they are on it like a hound dog is to the fox.

Tastant like Sensa, which we have done  articles on both,  the diet pill, Lipozenefor example,  may certainly have their benifts, encouraging weight lose, and eating up the fat within your body. The Question is “HOW LONG CAN YOU CONTINUE TO DO SO”?

The Problem…

  Is there was no mention of nutrition, exercise, or encouragement that we change our old ways, or examin how we arrived at our current Condition.

With tastants or diet pills their every marketing strategy states you can continue to eat, as you have been before, and our salt or pill will take care of the rest. No exercise is even placed in the picture and the chance of ill effects placed upon one study. The hook is to maintain or lose you must continue to take these for the rest of your life.

Is there another Solution?

 Yes there is, for those who are looking beyond the quick fixes.  First, we must except that changes must be made. Our mindset has to become one, that accepts change. We must start or begin with just some simple action…before any results will take place. Now, that may be the hardest thing you will ever have to do! It can be as simple as drinking a glass of water, more frequently, in place of your favorite soda  or having more fiber in your diet! You may think… How can that be? Do they work just like the above mentioned?

Brenda Davy, an associate professor at Virginia Tech in Blacksburgh, told the annual meeting of the American Chemical Society that the research was the first scientifically controlled study of whether water could play a role in dieting.

 ”We found in earlier studies that middle-aged and older people who drank two cups of water before eating a meal ate between 75 and 90 fewer calories during that meal. In this recent study, we found that over the course of 12 weeks, dieters who drank water before meals, three times per day, lost about 5 pounds more than dieters who did not increase their water intake,” Dr Davy said.

Getting enough fiber is something people don’t think about all that often. Let’s face it: Most of us haven’t a clue how many grams of fiber we’re taking in on a typical day.

And guess what? We’re not even close to meeting the recommended intakes of 20-35 grams a day for healthy adults (25 daily grams for those eating 2,000 calories per day, for example, and 30 grams for 2,500 calories a day) according to the American Dietetic Association. The mean fiber intake in the U.S. is 14-15 grams a day.

We get fiber from unprocessed foods such as fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, seeds, and beans, and most Americans aren’t exactly loading their plates with these items. You’d be hard pressed to find any of them in your average fast-food value meal.

And Americans are definitely eating more prepared and processed foods. Consumption of food prepared away from home increased from 18% of our total calories to 32% of total calories between 1977 and 1996. All this “away” food not only has more calories and fat per meal than home-prepared foods, but also less fiber (on a per-calorie basis).

Why Do We Need Fiber?

It’s hard to believe that something we can’t even digest can be so good for us! A higher-fiber diet has been shown to lower blood cholesterol levels and prevent constipation. High-fiber foods also tend to contain more nutrients and fewer calories, are digested more slowly, and help us feel full sooner.
